Standing in Victory was birthed from a place of pain. I was brought to trial by a family member who opened a court case against me and used my faith as his weapon to come against me.
Having gone through this trial, it made me understand the cross of Jesus Christ; He was brought to trial for a crime He did not commit, He was pierced and bruised from the insults and accusations that was thrown at Him for a crime He did not commit. Yet in humility, He still chose to go through the cross for the sins of the world.
And while He was on the cross, He ‘shouted Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing”. Jesus Christ stood in victory before the cross, during the cross and after the cross. And He wants us to do the same. No matter what trial we have or are going through, we must keep ‘Standing in Victory’ because Jesus Christ has already won the battle for us. As you listen to these songs, may the Holy Spirit minister to you and encourage you to continue following Jesus Christ no matter how much it’s going to cost you, the reward at the end is greater than the pain you will go through.
If you want to follow Jesus Christ, you must first deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Him. He doesn’t promise that that journey will always be sweet, but He promises you that He will be with you even till the end of earth. Never give up. Keep on ‘STANDING IN VICTORY’!!!
